Book Launch of Charley, Donna's newest novel, at Strawbery Banke Museum, Portsmouth, NH. Sept. 1st, 2013 from noon until four o'clock.

Join author Donna Marie Seim and Illustrator Susan Spellman and take a journey back in time at the lovely Strawbery Banke Museum, in Portsmouth, NH. Learn how to milk Bessie the cow, a very friendly and cooperative cow! Bake sugar cookies in an old fashioned wood stove in Mrs. Worthington's Kitchen. Play ringer marbles and learn how to knuckle down! Pitch some coppers like Charley used to do. There will be two readings and book signings at one o'clock and three o'clock by Donna Seim and an artist demonstration by Susan Spellman. We will be in costume and there will be a very special appearance of Charley himself! So come join in the fun and spend a day with Charley in the year 1910!

The New Hampshire Farm Museum in Milton, NH. Saturday, September 14th, 2013, from two until four o'clock. Come see the farm that helped inspire the setting for the Worthington Farm! There will be a child friendly cow milking station and we will play ringer marbles with knuckles down! Cider and donuts for snacks. You can tour this delightfully authentic farm before or after the book signing.

Spencer Pierce Little Farm, Newbury, Mass. Monday, September 16th, at 3:30. Farm Friends after school program. Donna will read farm excerpts from Charley, Bessie the 'friendly' cow will be on hand for milking, we will play ringer marbles and many old fashioned games.
