About Bella and Jingles
Bella looks out the airplane window at the frozen tundra below. This is her Alaskan adventure! She is excited to be a part of her scientist parent’s work studying climate change. But as Bella cuddles her stuffed dog, she wonders if she will make new friends in this far-away wilderness. Join Bella as she explores and discovers this new land with all its wonders and possible dangers and learns in the end sometimes true friendship is letting go. This story is inspired by the beautiful, rugged landscape of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska, and the animals and people that make this their home. Donna has created a loving story of a young girl and her friendship with a baby polar bear.
